Delivery and Returns

1. Purchasing From Us

Ordering at Apricot online is fast and secure. To place and order just follow the steps on-line

Sagepay ensures that your payment is handled in an easy, safe and secure manner. After every transaction completed you will receive a confirmation email with a reference number relating to your order. Please keep this safe in case you have a query.

Your card will be debited on completion of checkout.

The items on this website are for you to purchase by placing an order with the company. The company has the right to refuse orders and no contract will subsist between you and the company unless and until the company accepts you order via email, and dispatched the item or items to you.

All items are subject to availability. If the company does not supply the items to you for any reason, the company will not charge you for these items, and will refund back any money already paid for these items. The company will not be held responsible for compensating you for any other losses that you may suffer if the company does not supply the items.

2. How To Place An Order

Click on the Account page and log into your account using your email address and password. If you are a new user, please complete the registration process to set up as a new user.

Browse through category type / colour or enter a product description in the search box. When you are ready to buy, choose your size and colour and simply click on Add to Basket.

Click on Continue Shopping or View Basket.

Check your order and update any amendments, then click Checkout.

Select your delivery option and check the delivery address is correct then click Pay Now.

Select your method of payment, enter the details then click on Proceed.

Make a note of your order number. We will send you a confirmation email to confirm that we are processing your order and another when your order has been despatched to our couriers.

3. Standard Delivery Policy

We currently deliver within the UK & Channel Isles and Republic of Ireland.

A signature will be required from the delivery address. Parcels cannot be left in porches or with neighbours. If you are not at home, a note will be left by the postman/delivery driver and you can arrange a redelivery or collect from your local post office/sorting office. In cases where delivery was attempted but orders are returned to us because they have not been picked up/redelivery has not been arranged, a refund will be processed once these orders are returned to us - less the postage costs.

Normally under standard delivery - Orders of Apricot clothing (before P&P) over £35 qualify for free standard delivery to arrive within 3-5 working days. Please select the "FREE SHIPPING" option at step 4 of the checkout.

4. UK & Channel Isle Standard Delivery

All orders are despatched via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery within the UK & Channel Isles. Recorded Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days from despatch, and costs £3.95.

Please note that orders are only processed Monday to Friday. Orders placed after midday on a Friday will be processed the following Monday.

In the unlikely event your item is not delivered within this timescale, the item is not considered lost until 15 working days have elapsed.

5. UK Express Delivery

If you wish to guarantee delivery within 2 working days of your order being placed, we provide a courier service, costing £8.95. For express delivery your order must be placed before the midday deadline Monday to Thursday. Orders placed before 12pm on a Friday will be shipped to arrive by the following Tuesday.

Please note we do not provide a express delivery service for orders placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and orders made on Friday after midday, and on Saturday and Sunday will all be despatched from our warehouse on the following Monday, or the next working day (in the case of Bank Holidays).

Express delivery guarantees that you will receive your order by 5.30pm within 2 working days of the order being placed, provided that you order before the 12pm deadline.

Please note this service does not deliver outside UK*, to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses. If you choose this method but your address cannot be serviced by the courier we reserve the right to change delivery method.

*For express deliveries to Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly Islands, Scottish Highlands and Islands please allow 2 days for this method of delivery.

6. Republic of Ireland Delivery

Deliveries to Republic of Ireland usually take 3-5 days, costing £9.50.

7. Returns Policy (Online Orders Only)

If you are not completely satisfied with the purchase you made via our website, please return the item or items to be received by us in their original condition.* We will only issue a refund for items received by us within 30 days of despatch from our warehouse. Sale items must be received by us within 14 days of despatch from our warehouse.

* Returned items should be unworn, unwashed, in sellable condition, and with all Apricot garment tags still attached. If items received by us show signs of being worn, washed, used, or are in an otherwise unsellable condition, a refund will not be issued and the item/s will be returned.

When returning any item/s please allow 28 days from the day the parcel is posted for your refund to be processed.

8. How to Return Items

 

To return items please log into your account

Once in "My Account" please choose the "Completed Orders" option (the third option down).

In the "Completed Orders" area you will be able to see the items that you have bought. Click on the "Return Item(s)" button, and follow the instructions.

When you have completed the process of registering your return you can post the return back to us, using the sticker at the bottom of your invoice. After the return has been registered you will be sent an email for your own records - please keep this.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE NEED YOUR ORDER NUMBER in your return package. Please either print out your original confirmation email and include this in the return, or write your order number and name on a piece of paper and include this in your return.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we strongly recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods, and obtain a proof of delivery certificate from the Post Office. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

Returns that are posted back to us with no postage costs/incorrect postage costs paid, may be subject to a processing delay and a refund deduction for the costs met by us to receive the return.

9. Faulty Goods & Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that you have received a faulty garment, or an incorrect order, please follow the usual return guidelines (above), but please do not send your package, as you will be contacted by a member of the Apricot web team, who will assist you with your return.

Please note Apricot stores & concessions cannot process the return of online orders.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
